Introduction
After the war between man and Covenant had ended, and an alliance formed, society started to rebuild. Much destruction had come about, many had been killed, and Heroes were lost in to the emptiness of space.
Stories were told of great battles, titans against millions of foes, slaying them all with ease. Some even recorded these events from memory.
The following notes, images, and journal entries are those found from cities and battlefields, made by those who, whether fighting or viewing, experienced the great war firsthand. These are their stories…
June 5th, 2553;
I can’t believe I’m caught up in all of this. Just yesterday I was nearly [incinerated] by some laser weapon, held by a small alien creature. If this goes on much longer, well, I don’t know exactly what might happen. I’m probably going to get killed.
Today I tried venturing from my [apartment] where I was held up. There weren’t so many aliens, so I felt like I might be able to scavenge some food or even weapons for my own protection. I walked up to a pile of [rubble] as I saw some of the aliens grouped up, and they looked [like they] were planning something, but I didn’t stick around too long.
I came home and reviewed what I had collected. There were a couple of weapons, some vending machine food (I had smashed one open earlier), military armor, and a few other things that I can’t quite understand. I did get one of the mysterious gizmos to work; it was some kind of force field that could go on your arm, which should make things it a bit easier, a bit safer…

June 12th, 2553.
We’re still held up here in the underground parking lot. NY is basically run by the Covenant now, and it’s also starting to get a little snowy. David is still trying to contact someone, but he’s not getting anywhere with it. He just set up some kind of GPS system on his laptop. Supposed to track the Covenant.
George and I went above ground today, it was pretty deserted. We recovered some Elite armor, David reconfigured it so we can use the personal shields. The fire is still going strong, which is good.
David says that he heard the Covenant are making some big plans. Something about “Advanced Warriors” or something.
I know I jot this down every new entry, but I sure hope someone saves us fast before we get obliterated.
